Dr. Dan Patterson | Chief Executive Officer & President, PMP

With over fifteen years of experience, Dr. Patterson is recognized as a global thought leader and visionary within the project management industry. With a focus on project analytics and risk management, Dan has a highly impressive track record with a unique combination of product management skills combined with extensive commercial and technical project management experience.

He specializes in the areas of project analytics, risk management, scheduling, estimating, earned value and artificial intelligence. This experience has been used to lead and manage business development, sales teams and corporate growth within the PPM industry for several PPM companies. Previously, as Pertmaster's Executive VP, Dan led the Americas Business Unit creating a leading presence and developing a highly successful sales, marketing and consulting team contributing to the successful acquisition and subsequent handover of Pertmaster to Primavera (now Oracle) in late 2006. Extending this passion for project analytics across multiple industries, Dan's industry focus is energy, EPC and IT.

Steve Cook | Chairman

Steve Cook, has over 30 years of experience in the project management software industry co-founding  Welcom (WST Corp) in  1983.  He conceived and co-authored, Open Plan, the company’s flag ship critical path scheduling tool in the early years and then became involved all aspects of the business taking keen interest in customer satisfaction and expanding the company’s product range.   In the mid 90’s he took the role of VP Sales.
 
In March 2006 while Steve was President/CEO of Welcom, the company was purchased by Deltek (Symbol: PROJ) and he remained with Deltek as VP of EPM Product Management until November 2006.
 
Welcom received a number of awards and recognition including Inc 500 ranking (3 years running), Entrepreneur of the Year and PC Magazine Editor’s Choice.
